Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as an SAP PP/MES consultant, with a range of years in the field.
- Expertise in configuring SAP PP/PEO/QM modules; familiarity with product rework from stock and MRO processes is essential.
- Industry background in aerospace & defense or automotive sectors is advantageous.
- Prior exposure to FIORI applications and S4HANA is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with PP-MM and PP-QM integration; experience in complex assembly manufacturing is a plus.
- Capable of gathering requirements and creating functional specifications; able to guide ABAP developers regarding solutions and testing with a business mindset.
- Ability to consolidate business requirements into processes and break them down into specific development tasks.
- At least 2-3 project implementations in SAP, focusing on production planning and quality modules.
- Knowledge of Parameter Unit effectivity is a bonus, especially for aircraft builds.
- Practical experience with material requirement planning and involvement in project stock with WBS elements.
- Solid theoretical understanding of SAP project systems, including network orders, WBS elements, and PP-PS integration via MA and IKs.
- Must demonstrate a results-driven approach along with adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Previous exposure to SAP CAMS (complex assembly manufacturing system) is desirable.
- Experience in data migration from non-SAP or SAP systems for master and transactional data using LTMC, LSMW, or data migration cockpit.
- Familiarity with S4 Data Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SAP BODS, SAP Data Services Designer, and S4HANA database is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of material masters, Bill of Materials, Routing (planning) and its configuration and usage; deep understanding of Serialization and batch management is required.
- Investigate and troubleshoot data migration issues related to master data in BOM and Routing; multiple test cycles to validate BOM, Routing, and Orders across landscapes will be necessary.
- Review and test architectural decisions related to MBOMs, Routing, and Serialization, ensuring coherence with business requirements and system configurations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and gather business requirements effectively.
- Configure and customize SAP PP/PEO/QM modules according to organizational needs.
- Conduct testing for various SAP applications and ensure proper integration of modules.
- Assist in managing the data migration process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to master data in BOM and Routing, while conducting validation tests across different landscapes.
- Support ABAP developers by providing functional specifications and testing solutions.
- Prepare documentation for business processes and assist in aligning them with technical requirements.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
- Evaluate and test proposals related to architectural decisions for system improvements.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in SAP.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest in SAP technology and methodologies.
