Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a software engineer in Agile settings
- Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities
- Proficiency in Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, Typescript, SQL, and Java
- Familiarity with web security measures, including Akamai WAF and AWS-hosted applications
- Experience in unit testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and SoapUI
- Ability to mentor developers and help foster their growth
- Passion for creating user-friendly, compliant, and accessible digital products
- Willingness to transition to a full-time position after the contract period
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and implementation of digital portal solutions for front-end and back-end systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security
- Offer technical mentorship to developers and quality engineers, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with product owners and architecture teams to synchronize business objectives with technical execution and deliver impactful features
- Establish and maintain engineering standards, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and deployment practices
- Liaise with offshore teams to ensure priorities are aligned and blockers are addressed in a timely manner
- Assist in content readiness by guiding in tagging, metadata, and component usage for enhanced personalization and accessibility
- Advocate for modern development practices like automated testing, Agile methodologies, and UX collaboration
- Engage in defect triage and root cause investigations to enhance quality and implement preventive measures
Description
