Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and network connectivity
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Experience with documentation and call tracking systems
- Willingness to adhere to policies and procedures
- Flexibility to adapt to changing shift requirements after training is completed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for technology-related inquiries through phone, email, or web
- Record customer interactions in our call tracking system
- Assist with network and email connectivity, as well as computer hardware and software issues
- Collaborate with customers and colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
- Analyze, document, and escalate various technical problems as needed
- Provide support for the features and functionalities of specific applications
- Deliver Level 1 technical assistance for issues of low to medium complexity
- Contribute to and update the technical knowledge base as necessary
- Follow established policies and procedures diligently
- Make informed business decisions under guidance while adhering to documented processes
- Identify procedural problems and propose suggestions for enhancement
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned or requested
Description
We are a dynamic company seeking an IT Help Desk Agent to join our team in Portsmouth, NH or Plano, TX. This is a 12-month contract role with the potential for extension up to 24 months. We offer a comprehensive 3-week instructor-led training program to ensure you are well-equipped for the position.
