Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or database design.
- Proficient with ERwin, PowerDesigner, or similar modeling tools.
- Strong SQL capabilities with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- In-depth knowledge of dimensional modeling, normalization, relational data structures, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud, Data Lakes, and Enterprise Data Hubs.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Understanding of API data formats including JSON and XML.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models for enterprise systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to transform business needs into scalable data structures.
- Ensure data integrity, normalization, optimization, and overall quality of models.
- Collaborate with ETL developers and data engineers to implement models within data warehouses, EDH, and data lakes.
- Document data dictionaries, metadata, relationships, and business rules according to enterprise standards.
- Support data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements related to PHI/PII.
- Conduct data profiling, evaluate data quality, and establish data quality rules and transformation logic.
