Cybersecurity Lead Analyst

- Direct and mentor the cybersecurity team, fostering professional development - Formulate and implement cybersecurity strategies aligned with the organizations objectives - Work closely with IT leadership to evaluate risks and establish key security priorities - Manage and enhance Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, and Office 365 - Oversee Microsoft Sentinel for effective threat detection, incident management, and log analysis - Implement data governance and compliance initiatives using Microsoft Purview - Supervise identity management tasks through Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access - Regularly assess security policies and configurations within Microsoft 365 and Azure - Conduct monthly attack simulations to test defenses - Lead proactive threat hunting and incident response utilizing Microsoft XDR and SIEM tools - Develop and maintain response playbooks for security incidents - Collaborate with internal departments and external entities during security incidents - Ensure adherence to industry compliance standards and regulations - Conduct risk assessments and manage remediation activities - Maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies and procedures - Champion security awareness initiatives across the organization through training programs - Keep informed about the latest threats and cybersecurity developments involving Microsoft technology
