Requirements
Must:
- Masters Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field
- Over 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT, or related technical disciplines
- Proven experience in coordinating cybersecurity operations across various agencies and stakeholders
- Practical knowledge of cybersecurity tools, secure networks, intrusion detection, and risk management frameworks
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across cyber operational processes and teams within the DoD, VA, and the joint EHR environment to enhance cybersecurity capabilities
- Apply advanced expertise in modern cybersecurity frameworks, including Zero Trust, to strengthen the agencys cyber posture
- Utilize hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools, network topologies, intrusion detection systems, PKI, and secured networks to evaluate and mitigate risks
- Design and implement systems that adhere to federal cybersecurity policies and regulations
- Lead and oversee the migration of EHR data to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), factoring in joint cyber risk management considerations
- Organize and execute cybersecurity tabletop exercises to validate controls and response protocols
- Develop and present briefings, reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for management and leadership
- Identify, escalate, and monitor cyber risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies in a multi-stakeholder context
