Requirements
Must:
We require that candidates possess an active DoD Secret Clearance, along with eligibility to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of experience in penetration testing or technical cybersecurity assessments. Proficiency with penetration testing tools and frameworks, such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Wireshark, is necessary. You should also have a solid understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software, as well as intermediate knowledge of Linux and Windows internals. Familiarity with virtualization platforms including VMware, VirtualBox, and ESXi is expected. Excellent communication and technical reporting skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a secure setting, are essential.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will engage in hands-on penetration testing and conduct technical security evaluations of systems, applications, and networks. You will be responsible for identifying, exploiting, and documenting vulnerabilities to assess system defenses. Analyzing and interpreting network traffic and communications with tools such as Wireshark and Burp Suite will be part of your duties. You will utilize industry-standard tools and custom scripts to mimic real-world attacks and conduct testing in virtualized environments. Additionally, you will prepare clear and actionable technical reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations for mitigation. Collaboration with cybersecurity teams and government stakeholders to improve system security posture will also be integral to your work. Furthermore, adherence to strict operational security protocols in a no-personal device SCIF environment is mandatory.
