Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science
- 3 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Python, MongoDB, and React
- Strong comprehension of software development techniques and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities
- Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement custom database and client endpoint software for managing manufacturing data
- Gather requirements to enhance understanding of end user workflows and create user-friendly application interfaces
- Engage in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to fellow developers on the project
- Ensure all submitted software is clear, well-documented, and easy to maintain
- Confirm that the solution effectively fulfills project requirements
- Adhere to Avo software development guidelines, including PEP-8 naming conventions, PEP-257 docstring standards, and Sphinx API-style documentation
- Participate in DevOps responsibilities, such as application containerization, CI/CD flow implementation, and release testing automation for applications
- Assist the manufacturing team in resolving production issues promptly and escalate concerns when necessary
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying Avos needs and enhancing our operations through your contributions
- Collaborate with team members to promote a positive work environment
