Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; Computer Science; Mathematics; Physics; or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years experience in software product or application development
- Proficiency in major programming languages such as C++, C#/.NET, and JavaScript
- Understanding of software design patterns (object-oriented design) and knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and operating system internals
- Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop skills based on feedback
- Ability to seek guidance on development priorities
- Self-motivated with effective time management skills
Responsibilities
- Analyzing, articulating, and making technical decisions regarding scaling, reliability, performance, and maintenance that influence the team
- Designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting software applications
- Delivering software punctually while striving to provide accurate estimates
- Offering technical support for products, including direct customer assistance and handling escalated issues
- Documenting product behavior and implementation specifics
- Collaborating with team members to approach and prioritize development tasks
- Adhering to team processes, documentation, best practices, and coding style guides
- Providing constructive feedback on pull requests, engineering designs, and features
- Enhancing your expertise in your technical domain
- Acting as a mentor to junior developers
