Must:
I am looking for a candidate who has over 5 years of professional experience in backend development using Python. You should have demonstrable experience in delivering projects that involve Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, or AI agents within production settings. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or GCP, is essential, including skills in deploying, monitoring, and scaling services. A solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and best practices for container orchestration is expected, along with a grasp of APIs, microservice architectures, and distributed systems. Familiarity with vector databases and embedding-based search is also required. Experience with libraries and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers, or OpenAI SDKs is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving abilities, a collaborative mindset, and strong communication skills are necessary. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will need you to design, develop, and sustain backend services and pipelines in Python for applications based on LLMs. You will be tasked with architecting and implementing RAG pipelines that connect LLMs to structured and unstructured data sources. Additionally, you will develop and orchestrate AI agents that can perform autonomous or semi-autonomous tasks using APIs, knowledge graphs, and vector databases. Optimizing and integrating LLM workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive AI solutions is essential, and you are expected to stay updated on emerging trends in LLMs, retrieval architectures, and generative AI ecosystems.
Description
This is a full-time position with a pay rate starting from $75.00 per hour. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience specifically in LLM/RAG/AI Agent project development and must be able to commute to Manhattan, NY, as this role requires in-person presence.
