Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional analysis, quality assurance, or in a role combining requirements analysis and functional validation
- Strong understanding of the software development cycle and experience with SaaS, CRM, ERP applications, or complex business rule systems
- Excellent ability to analyze needs, structure them, and translate into functional rules, acceptance criteria, and clear test cases
- Proficiency in functional testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, and validating acceptance criteria
- Comfortable collaborating with technical, non-technical stakeholders, clients, partners, and other stakeholders
- Ability to simplify, document clearly, facilitate, or support meetings for clarification, validation, or functional acceptance
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, curiosity, strong customer service ethic, diplomacy, and capability to constructively challenge needs or solutions
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client or partner locations as project needs arise
Responsibilities
- Analyze, clarify, and document functional requirements related to our product suite
- Collaborate with Product, Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Service teams, and external clients and partners to thoroughly understand business needs, operational objectives, and functional impacts
- Participate in discovery, clarification, validation, or acceptance meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, remotely or in person as needed
- Reformulate expressed needs into functional rules, acceptance criteria, clear test cases, and user stories
- Identify functional impacts, ambiguities, inconsistencies, dependencies, and quality risks before development
- Design, execute, and maintain functional test scenarios, regression tests, exploratory tests, and acceptance tests based on requirements and acceptance criteria
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track anomalies until resolution, including retests, validation of fixes, and traceability between requirements, tests, results, and anomalies
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of functional documentation, software quality practices, validation processes, quality indicators, and candidate scenarios for automation
- Perform other related tasks as necessary
