Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of development experience in Oracle POS
- Solid business and technical knowledge of POS processes and features
- Proficient in Oracle Database, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Xstore and Oracle Xcenter modules
- Understanding of company customizations within Oracle POS
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and collaborate with business stakeholders to identify system enhancement opportunities
- Develop technical specifications and document solutions clearly
- Adhere to industry-standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices for code quality and delivery
- Share innovative ideas with the team to ensure consistent deployment processes
- Create technical specifications for essential POS functionality
- Conduct thorough testing for new developments and regression testing of the application
- Capture business needs for Development into POS
- Prepare functional specifications for Development to POS
- Collaborate with teams to clarify technical requirements as necessary
- Write code and release packages according to specifications
- Assist in training sessions for developments in POS
- Provide level 2/3 support for Xstore, Xcenter, and their integrations
- Analyze reported issues, isolate problems, and propose solutions
