Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 12 years of experience in embedded software development and testing for medical devices
- Familiarity with Appium or other mobile test automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of IEC 62304, FDA regulations, and SaMD standards
- Practical experience with BLE, Serial, SPI, and UART communication protocols
- Skilled in using protocol sniffers and debugging tools
- Proven track record in managing both offshore and onsite teams
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), risk management, and design controls
Responsibilities
- Drive the test strategy and test automation for embedded systems and mobile applications
- Lead the introduction and testing of innovative medical devices
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful product launches
- Oversee testing efforts and manage resources efficiently
- Develop and implement testing protocols to verify device performance
- Evaluate and enhance existing testing frameworks
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members
