Systems Engineer - DevOps and Cloud Solutions

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field with over 5 years of relevant experience - Proven ability to manage multiple intricate projects concurrently while collaborating with clients, consultants, and our internal teams to achieve objectives - Proficient in drafting project specifications, implementation strategies, design documentation, and formal testing plans - Strong aptitude for developing and presenting engineering designs and system implementation reviews - Effective collaboration with Program Managers and deployment engineers - Skilled in conducting project reviews and testing phases alongside clients and subcontractors - Expertise in technical troubleshooting and problem resolution - Experience in guiding the design of hardware and software systems through contributing requirements and operational insights - Competence in performing risk assessments and formulating mitigation strategies - Responsible for overseeing system deployments and ensuring customer adoption during project phases - Ability to evaluate system performance to guarantee the functionality of deployed solutions - Strong organizational skills with a methodical problem-solving approach, while also being a self-sufficient team player - Capacity to facilitate technical discussions across all aspects of an Avail system, with a good understanding of potential challenges - Exceptional soft skills, including teamwork, adaptability, and keen observation - Proven capability to inspire and direct technical teams - Familiarity with establishing advanced wired and wireless TCP/IP networks - Proficient in configuring Microsoft Windows workstations and servers with knowledge of SQL database architectures - Advanced understanding of utilizing APIs for system integration - Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional visits to our State College, PA office - Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, as necessary.
