Cybersecurity Team Lead

- I will lead, mentor, and develop a small team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers. - I will oversee the daily operations of the SOC or MDR workflows and act as an escalation point for incidents. - I will cultivate a collaborative team culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and learning. - I will manage and optimize the utilization of SentinelOne MDR, Palo Alto Firewalls, Microsoft 365 Security, and DLP solutions. - I will lead offensive and defensive operations, including penetration testing, adversary simulation, threat modeling, and detection engineering. - I will develop and implement custom tools and automation scripts (using Python, PowerShell, Bash) to enhance operational efficiency, detection capabilities, and response times. - I will proactively hunt for advanced threats using behavioral analysis and telemetry data, lead investigations, perform forensics, and create both technical and executive-level incident reports. - I will evaluate, select, and manage third-party security vendors, negotiate contracts, oversee SLAs, and conduct performance reviews alongside coordinating joint security assessments and audits. - I will ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FTC, GLBA, PCI-DSS) and lead audits, risk assessments, and certification initiatives. - I will provide regular updates to executives regarding risk posture, incident trends, and the maturity of our security program.
