Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, specifically Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Strong communication abilities and professionalism when interacting with customers
- Solid understanding of heat transfer principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and some experience with MathCad and SAP
- Familiarity with drafting software is a plus
- Knowledge of ASME Code is advantageous
- Awareness of compliance programs, such as CRN and UL, is valued
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical resource for our equipment, assisting field sales representatives and direct accounts
- Provide technical and commercial support to foster relationships with sales and marketing teams
- Aid in the selection and application of heat transfer products such as steam, refrigerant, and glycol-based solutions
- Utilize foundational heat transfer principles to guide customer engineering choices
- Participate in evaluations for significant or unique applications requiring advanced engineering considerations
- Ensure submittal and production drawings align with manufacturing capabilities
- Help resolve quality issues and provide technical guidance to production leaders
- Contribute to product development and support ongoing improvement initiatives
- Occasionally travel to customer locations and industry trade events
