Requirements
Must:
- A solid foundation in the IT sector, evidenced by an AS/BS degree in information technology or a minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Proficient in effective communication via phone and email in a call center setting
- Strong technical writing and documentation capabilities
- Familiarity with basic business applications, including Microsoft 365 and other hosted solutions
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with Windows PCs
- Knowledge of common tablets and mobile devices
- Experience managing peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, monitors, and UPS systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and explain basic IP network functionality
- Exposure to troubleshooting networking hardware such as wireless controllers, access points, routers, firewalls, and switches
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices
- Experience utilizing a ticketing system and remote management platform is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide front-line support to users, both locally and remotely, for computers, tablets, phones, servers, and network infrastructure
- Tackle and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Guide users through step-by-step solutions to technical problems
- Manage multiple open issues using our ticketing system while maintaining excellent organizational skills
- Coordinate resolutions and communicate effectively with end users and management
- Participate in occasional after-hours and weekend on-call support after gaining necessary experience
