Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
- 5+ years of experience with at least one programming language
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture for new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle expertise, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
- Proven experience as a mentor or tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Define strategies and identify opportunities for simplifying or enhancing solutions for optimal results
- Mentor and guide team members fostering curiosity and deep technical knowledge
- Assess technical demands and propose effective solutions
- Establish the technical direction for the team
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to conceptualize, design, develop, test, and launch scalable, maintainable software that positively influences our customers and motivates peers
- Independently clarify technical requirements and evaluate development estimates while applying various design methodologies
- Promote ongoing enhancements in software quality, customer satisfaction, and product maintainability
- Keep abreast of technology trends, tools, and methodologies
