Requirements
Must:
- 1+ years of technical support experience
- Capability to independently manage support tickets and provide accurate status updates
- Skill in prioritizing support requests in a dynamic, rapidly evolving setting
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in simplifying complex IT concepts for various audiences
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+ are preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance on servers and networks
- Provide basic support for Active Directory tasks, including user management and password resets
- Assist with Multi-Factor Authentication setups and user unlocks
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware issues, including setup and installation of peripherals
- Install and support Windows operating systems, including command line assistance and client support
- Offer desktop support for Windows 10 and 11 as well as server support for various Windows Server versions
- Diagnose and remedy basic software issues on PCs and mobile devices
- Provide essential support for Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications
- Assist with spam filtering issues
- Troubleshoot network connections and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network hardware
- Identify and resolve basic infrastructure issues related to cabling and storage technologies
- Address security vulnerabilities and support Duo MFA/SSO ticket resolution
- Handle basic anti-virus support and remediation tasks
- Configure and install laptops and mobile devices
- Offer foundational support for Mac OS, Linux, and mobile operating systems
- Maintain servers and networks across diverse environments
- Escalate issues to higher-level support when necessary
- Provide after-hours support on a rotating schedule every few months
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, diagrams, and instructions
- Manage dispatch support tasks, including answering calls and assigning tickets
Description
We are a dedicated team located in Tampa, FL, seeking a Helpdesk Technician to assist our clients and collaborate with our system engineers. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $21.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with matching, dental, health, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
