IT Technician - Networking and Support

- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and IT-related issues (desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals) - Create and manage Active Directory user and computer accounts, ensuring proper access control - Monitor and maintain server environments, conducting daily and weekly checks on server room equipment - Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (TCP/IP, subnets, DNS) and manage firewall security - Assist in supporting daily business applications and addressing user inquiries - Ensure the reliability and security of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and related applications - Maintain technical documentation for current IT services and systems - Contribute to the implementation of IT infrastructure and network projects, ensuring timely delivery - Keep onsite IT asset registers updated and ensure accuracy of IT inventory - Log all IT issues within the Helpdesk system and ensure resolution within specified timelines - Execute operating system upgrades and manage patches for all Windows environments - Provide general infrastructure support, including occasional out-of-hours or remote assistance when necessary - Support and maintain industrial IT systems (DCS/SCADA, industrial ethernet, field buses, OSIsoft PI, CCTV platforms) - Assist with cloud-based networking and distributed IT systems
