Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Machine Learning, or a related highly technical field.
- Exceptional quantitative reasoning skills and comfort in complex, ambiguous, multidisciplinary settings.
- Proven experience in building, modeling, analyzing, or optimizing intricate systems.
- Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Python, C++, Java, Julia, Rust, or similar.
- Familiarity with machine learning, AI tools, data modeling, optimization, systems design, or algorithmic problem-solving.
- Ability to think outside conventional role boundaries and identify lucrative opportunities across technical and commercial spaces.
- High level of independence, self-direction, intellectual curiosity, and execution discipline.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capability to explain technical concepts to clinical and executive leadership.
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically to California and Florida.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the Chief Medical Officer and executive leadership to conceptualize, assess, and implement AI-driven and quantitatively informed initiatives across Atlantic Cove Medical Group and its affiliates.
- Detect arbitrage opportunities and inefficiencies in the healthcare ecosystem, encompassing clinical operations, reimbursement structures, pharmacy services, virtual care delivery, workflow automation, patient acquisition, and data monetization.
- Innovate applications of computer science, machine learning, mathematics, and quantitative modeling to foster business growth, operational efficiency, and distinct competitive advantage.
- Create and develop internal tools, decision-support systems, predictive models, workflow automations, and proprietary platforms utilizing organizational data and infrastructure.
- Assess how technology can generate new business lines from existing healthcare assets, including virtual health platforms and operational data.
- Transform large, complex real-world healthcare datasets into structured analytical frameworks that facilitate insight generation and execution.
- Collaborate across business, clinical, technical, and operational realms to pinpoint where advanced technical interventions can yield disproportionate value.
- Prototype, evaluate, and refine new products, software tools, quantitative models, and AI-enabled systems from conception to implementation.
- Independently uncover opportunities without needing excessive guidance, driving projects forward with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Aid the organization in cultivating a long-term proprietary technology advantage through internal innovation, process design, and technical strategy.
- Travel periodically to company headquarters and operational sites for strategic meetings and project coordination.
