Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching or coaching within a fitness or athletic setting
- Current CPR/AED and first aid certification is mandatory
- Preferred: PPR Professional Instructor Certification
- Proficient in using hardware and software applications, including MS Office, Club Automation, and payroll processing
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent focus on customer service, maintaining professionalism and discretion
- Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a daily basis
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk around the Club for varying durations throughout shifts
- Competence in operating computer systems effectively and communicating clearly with members, staff, and guests
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons, clinics, and special events tailored for our members
- Drive lesson sales in alignment with Department of Athletics revenue objectives
- Instruct and enhance members skills and techniques
- Possess a deep comprehension of pickleball and its fundamentals, while staying updated on current trends
- Efficiently manage time and member appointments
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Partner with the Director of Athletics to generate innovative ideas and special events, as well as provide constructive feedback to enhance the pickleball program
- Contribute to the overall growth of the club staff by sharing knowledge and expertise gained from professional experience and training
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
Description
At The Sporting Club at The Bellevue, we are thrilled to offer a part-time opportunity for a Pickleball Instructor to join our expanding team. We are seeking an expert in pickleball who will be dedicated to delivering exceptional services and lessons to our members. Our compensation ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, based on clinic and lesson instruction, with a work schedule of approximately 20 to 25 hours per week.
