Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in developing, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models
- Strong foundations in software engineering with proficiency in Python and experience in building production-quality systems
- Expertise in best practices for testing, modular design, and documentation
- Experience with training and fine-tuning LLMs and Generative AI models is advantageous
- Familiarity with NLP or computer vision techniques
- Experience in using the AWS ecosystem, including Kubernetes, Kubeflow, or EKS is a plus
- Understanding of large-scale data processing frameworks and ETL pipelines (e.g., Spark)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for current AI research and the responsible application of novel techniques
- Awareness of the ethical, fairness, and compliance implications in AI

Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a scrum team of 2-4 members on various projects
- Identify and assess opportunities for implementing different machine learning techniques
- Assist in the development and deployment of ML-based services for our clients
- Follow and promote conventions and best practices in modeling, coding, architecture, and statistical methodologies
- Subject models, statistics, and code to rigorous testing
- Contribute to the creation of internal tools and AI team standards
- Advocate for responsible AI practices focusing on fairness, transparency, and data privacy
- Engage actively in technical design discussions and propose innovative solutions to complex problems
- Provide prompt and constructive feedback through code reviews
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and innovation
