Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex IT projects; experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or similar approaches.
- Practical experience with SharePoint, UCaaS, and CCaaS projects is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with vendors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Skilled in using project management software like Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.
- Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and flourish in a dynamic environment.
- Strong skills in reporting and conveying information to stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as necessary; a valid drivers license is required.
- Dedicated to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies, including safety and infection control standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute multiple simultaneous IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Create and sustain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, manage milestones, and proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate potential risks and challenges.
- Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects within the defined scope and budget.
- Conduct scope definition and requirements-gathering sessions with key stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate project status, risks, and results to stakeholders and organizational leadership.
- Align project goals with the overall organizational strategy and business objectives.
- Implement and uphold organizational project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Manage modifications to scope, timelines, and resources using effective change management strategies.
- Ensure that delivered solutions meet quality benchmarks and fulfill stakeholder expectations.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting notes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and engage in strategic planning activities.
- Offer guidance and support to technical teams for projects involving SharePoint, UCaaS/CCaaS, phone system migrations, and other IT endeavors.
