Must:
I am seeking a candidate who possesses a Master’s degree in engineering, along with a substantial 15 years of experience specifically in interoperability and integration engineering. Of this experience, at least 5 years should be within the Department of Defense (DoD).
Responsibilities
In this role, I will need you to provide expertise in developing technical requirements and planning, as well as implementing cybersecurity measures, Information Assurance (IA) protocols, and system/program protection strategies. You will conduct Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) analysis, manage spectrum resources, implement standards, and perform IT analysis and engineering. Additional responsibilities include:
- Conducting interoperability analysis of Command, Control, Communications (C3), IT, and ISR systems within a system of systems framework.
- Analyzing C3 and ISR technologies.
- Conducting technology analysis and testing of machine-to-machine data flows and exchanges.
- Evaluating technology and processes related to mission planning.
- Engaging in architecture development and analysis.
- Managing Communication Security (COMSEC) processes and technology evaluations.
- Performing communications engineering tasks.
- Executing interoperability testing and ensuring standards conformity.
- Analyzing and developing encryption technologies.
- Conducting E3 testing and spectrum certification processes.
- Assisting with cybersecurity and IA certification and accreditation efforts.
- Analyzing protection technologies relevant to Critical Protected Information (CPI).
- Ensuring technical adequacy and compatibility of system interfaces.
