Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the Department of Defense (DoD); alternatively, I have 15 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, with at least 5 years in the DoD.
- I possess a current Secret clearance and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- My educational background includes a degree in a rigorous technical discipline.
- I have experience in DoD system acquisition or development.
Responsibilities
- I apply a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of system engineering to the Cryptographic Modernization 2 acquisition process.
- I conduct reviews on the program portfolio to evaluate and recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, and manage and sustain the program technical baseline.
- I design and perform system level tests to ensure that subsystems and system performance meet approved specifications.
- I prepare technical documents that define, specify, and recommend system/subsystem characteristics, as well as management reports and technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective action, using engineering economy principles.
- I perform validations of systems, including the development of criteria and procedures.
- I analyze and evaluate the results of major engineering systems.
- I provide system/program engineering, technical support, and training to support various programs and initiatives, including acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, deployment, and operations oversight.
- I support program and project risk management activities in compliance with AF SEAM processes.
