Senior Cyber Security Engineer - InfoSec Specialist

In this role, I will provide Engineering Support Services (ESS) to NAVSEA PEO IWS Cyber Leads. The successful candidate will work both in contractor spaces and on-site at the Washington Navy Yard, designing and coordinating the implementation of cybersecurity solutions for surface combat systems. I expect to see experience in planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures. The individual will serve as a liaison between the Program Office and various stakeholders, managing the integration of cyber capabilities into surface warfare combat systems. I will look for someone who can conduct independent technical assessments of cybersecurity evaluations and test results to inform recommendations for system upgrades. Additionally, they will develop briefs on cybersecurity developments and potential risks and facilitate working groups on cyber activities within the combat system. Regularly presenting updates to Navy Leadership and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) will also be a key responsibility. Furthermore, overseeing end-to-end funding operations, gathering and analyzing requirements for future fiscal years, and refining tasks to align with strategic objectives will be necessary. ###
