Must:
We require candidates to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field combined with 12 years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, which must include at least five years of work within the Department of Defense (DoD). As a prerequisite, you must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field along with ten years of relevant experience, with a minimum of five years in the DoD. Technical skills that will set you apart include expertise in ITW/AA C2 missions, Linux Red Hat and security hardening, Cisco Network design, virtualization (Vcenter, Vsphere, VMware), Link-16 networks, and experience with Air Force Training Ranges.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will conduct evaluations on our program portfolio with the aim of enhancing systems engineering processes, managing the technical baseline, and executing system-level tests to ensure performance meets approved specifications. I will prepare technical documentation to define and recommend system characteristics, and create management reports and presentations for planning and correction using engineering economy principles. Moreover, I will validate systems by developing criteria and procedures while analyzing outcomes of major engineering systems focusing on end-to-end communications. Additionally, I will provide technical support and training across various programs, ensuring high-quality performance in planning, design, implementation, and management of networked Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) C2 systems. I will analyze network requirements, maintain architecture, diagnose network challenges, and ensure the application of cybersecurity policies while supporting Agile software development.
