Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Technical Bachelor's Degree and have 3-10 years of applicable experience, or I possess additional years of experience that outweigh the educational requirement. - I have an Active Secret clearance and can obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance. I am a U.S. Citizen. - I must have or be able to obtain DOD 8570 IAT Level 3 certification (CASP, CISSP, ISSEP, etc.) within 6 months of hire, and maintain certification throughout my employment. - I have experience using modern penetration testing tools and methods. - I have experience testing and exploiting web applications. - I demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - I possess good organizational, decision-making, and verbal and written communication skills. - I exhibit excellent self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision. - I can work effectively in both small and large team settings to solve complex problems. - I have the ability to collaborate with DOD Program Offices to scope, plan, execute, and report on penetration tests. - I have significant knowledge of Windows and Linux (including Kali) Operating Systems.

Responsibilities

- I conduct independent penetration testing, data collection, test automation, and reporting. - I develop test tools and strategies for cybersecurity testing within the Department of Defense (DOD). - I perform system security analysis on systems and/or software to understand and identify vulnerabilities. - I execute hands-on testing, which includes technical skills with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) as well as various software/databases (Apache, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.). - I provide technical guidance and support to penetration test teams. - I document and communicate test results effectively to both technical and non-technical user groups in written and oral formats. - I provide technical support in the management, planning, and execution of CVI, ACD, and CVPA.

This role includes travel of up to 25% to meet mission requirements, primarily within the United States but may include overseas travel.
