Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Over 5 years of SAP ABAP experience, including object-oriented ABAP and S4HANA development
- Proficient in RICEF development including reports, enhancements, IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, and Adobe Smart Forms
- Strong understanding of SAP HANA, CDS views, and performance optimization
- Experience with SAP Fiori UI5 integration and CDCI pipelines (GitLab, HANA Studio, Eclipse ABAP)
- Familiar with middleware integration (PIPO, CPI) and cloud integration services
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with experience in incident management
- Strong communication skills, capable of mentoring and collaborating effectively across different functions
- Reliability Status security clearance is required for access to Protected B systems
Responsibilities
- Direct the development and upkeep of ABAP and ABAP Object applications, focusing on performance optimization and code evaluations
- Create and implement solutions using RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms), including Fiori UI5 and HANA CDS Views
- Assist with integration efforts involving SAP PIPO, Data Services, CPI, and external cloud systems
- Provide technical guidance, conducting code assessments, mentoring junior developers, and advising on architectural choices
- Work in partnership with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into effective technical designs
- Support root cause analysis, production maintenance, incident management, and operational support following deployment
- Remain updated on SAP best practices and emerging technologies to propose process and tool enhancements
