Requirements
Must:
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Oracle technologies
- Expertise in managing and maintaining Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA)
- Proficient in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting ZDLRA appliances
- Ability to set up and oversee protection policies and backup schedules
- Experienced in administering protected databases and implementing protection protocols
- Skilled in executing disaster recovery operations
- Capable of automating routine tasks and performing performance monitoring
- Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations
- Proficient in generating reports on backup status, recovery performance, and operational metrics
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Linux and Linux environments
- Familiarity with agents and third-party software installation and reconfiguration
- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle Database ecosystem including Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, and Backup & Recovery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and uphold the Oracle ZDLRA environment
- Install, configure, and diagnose ZDLRA appliances
- Establish and manage protection policies and backup schedules
- Support protected databases while implementing protection policies
- Carry out disaster recovery operations as necessary
- Automate standard operational tasks and monitor performance
- Participate in scheduled on-call support
- Create and provide reports related to backup health, recovery performance, and other key metrics.
