Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Agile methods
- Strong experience in Mainframe DB2 application development
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in IBM Assembler (HLASM)
- Familiarity with COBOL, CICS, PLI, and JCL
- Skills in debugging and performance tuning using tools like IBM Debug Tool, Fault Analyzer, and IPCS
- Experience with MVS supervisor services and cross-memory services
- Knowledge of modernizing legacy systems, including cloud technologies and AI features
- Strong collaboration skills with analysts, operations teams, and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using Assembler and other programming languages
- Conduct active debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshoot issues using specialized tools
- Work on advanced system programming tasks involving MVS supervisor and cross-memory services
- Engage in projects focused on migrating and modernizing mainframe systems
- Collaborate with system analysts, operations teams, and client stakeholders to ensure integration and reliability
