Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience with Network Management Systems (NMS) related to Ruckus and Ubiquity.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical support or sales within the networking/ISP industry.
- Proven track record in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documentation, and conducting technical training.
- Hands-on skills in SSID configuration, Access Point (AP) management, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies and best deployment practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of crafting technical documentation and guides.
- Proficient in project management, triage, and collaborative efforts across teams.
- Ability to analyze and enhance network operations effectively.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with frequent context shifts.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for regional market support and deployment.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular hours including holidays as needed.
- Collaborates closely with operations and IT leadership.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage repair tickets, ensuring detailed documentation and follow-up.
- Support and maintain records concerning network outages, escalations, and field operations.
- Monitor outage alerts and triage responses, gathering relevant information for appropriate escalations.
- Collaborate with field operations to manage service turn-ups, ensuring precise documentation.
- Conduct quality assurance testing, laboratory assessments, and network analyses to enhance performance.
- Oversee wireless network creation, support device testing, and new feature rollouts.
- Perform root cause analysis to pinpoint recurring issues and work with teams to develop remediation processes.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for technical and operational workflows.
- Update and manage internal knowledge bases and wikis, ensuring they are precise and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development to produce guides and training materials for all audience levels.
- Provide technical insights and project support to the Customer Success Manager and leadership.
- Organize documentation for conversations/projects, deployment checklists, and operational review meetings.
- Partner with onboarding managers and regional leaders for efficient market activations.
- Facilitate status calls and provide support for deployments, including occasional travel.
- Assist in delivering technical training to various teams in partnership with Learning and Development.
- Support customer outreach efforts, manage contact tracking, and oversee portfolio management in assigned regions.
- Work together with management to align products and implement SOP-driven solutions effectively.
- Manage vendor-specific NMS systems and monitoring platforms to enhance performance.
- Supervise daily data reports, manage collisions, and adjust CRM or NMS settings as needed.
- Engage in IT outreach projects and technical enablement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing to produce technical communication materials for customer-facing content.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
