Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a technician in the telecommunications sector
- At least 6 months of satisfying metrics with Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC) network experience is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective time management abilities
- Familiarity with power tools and capability to read and interpret NIMS and AutoCAD maps
- Working knowledge of phone/IP networks and POS systems with the ability to convey information clearly
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Possession of a valid drivers license and a satisfactory driving record as per company guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities
- Conduct installation, service/repair, and disconnects for residential and commercial customers, including data, video, and phone services
- Assist supervisors and technicians with escalations and handle specialized work orders
- Monitor and record RF and signal levels to ensure compliance with specifications
- Communicate effectively with leadership and dispatch as necessary
- Educate customers on our services and products
- Operate a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to address urgent issues
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management
