Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Proficiency in Java programming; knowledge of Python is advantageous
- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with Vue.js is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of equities and equity derivatives, including trading workflows utilizing FIX protocol
- Proven experience in developing trading platforms such as Order Management Systems and market data systems
- Experience collaborating with trading desks and working directly with traders, quantitative analysts, and risk management teams
- Background in pricing strategies and quantitative modeling, especially in volatility, is preferred
- Familiarity with industry tools like Quod and Murex is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt as necessary
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front office applications using Java
- Collaborate with traders and other financial professionals to understand their requirements and enhance trading workflows
- Design and implement trading platforms, ensuring integration with existing systems
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for trading-related issues
- Conduct coding tests as part of the interview process
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our software solutions
- Work closely with business users to gather feedback and iteratively improve applications
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to ensure project alignment
