Requirements
Must:
- Proven ability to diagnose, maintain, and repair computer hardware and peripheral devices, including printers and handheld devices.
- Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
- Intermediate to advanced expertise in widely-used office productivity software, especially Microsoft 365.
- Willingness and capability to learn and assist with the companys ERP system, mission-critical applications, and remote management tools like NinjaOne.
- Excellent active listening skills coupled with strong verbal and written communication abilities, emphasizing clear and user-friendly support.
- Positive attitude with a belief in the solvability of IT issues, accompanied by determination to resolve problems efficiently.
- CompTIA A+ certification and experience with mobile device configuration (e.g., smart phones, tablets) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of VOIP telephone support and iSeries/AS400 systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for users, delivering technical support through various channels, including phone, email, and our help desk system.
- Create and manage support tickets, documenting resolutions comprehensively.
- Evaluate the level of support needed for each inquiry, collaborating with the ICT Team for guidance.
- Provide prompt, friendly assistance for issues that can be addressed without escalation by troubleshooting and implementing solutions.
- Offer remote and on-site support for computer, network, application, and telephone-related challenges.
- Conduct hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates as required.
- Act as a bridge between staff and the IT department, ensuring effective communication and timely follow-up on Help Desk requests until issues are resolved.
- Cultivate a strong understanding of AGNEs processes to deliver effective support across the company.
- Simplify technical terminology and concepts into accessible language for end users.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned to bolster the IT department and fulfill organizational objectives.
