Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven senior project member capabilities, successfully completing tasks assigned by Project leaders.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with IaaS SEG’s Cisco IronPort; familiarity with Proofpoint is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Email platforms, including Exchange Online/M365 and Exchange 2016/2019/SE.
- Strong understanding of E-mail security measures and their application within the enterprise, including experience with SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Anti-Spam, and Anti-Malware.
- Proficient in PowerShell management and scripting; ability to execute tasks from the command line and write PowerShell scripts.
- Strong experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and Load Balancers.
- Familiarity with ADFS, Entra ID, and SAML.
- Experience managing and optimizing Windows Server 2016/2019 within the enterprise.
- Experience working with Virtual Machines and vendor appliances.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and capacity to identify root causes.
- Familiarity with industry-standard server engineering tools and practices.
- Understanding of Service-Now and Change/Incident Management.
- Experience in company integrations during mergers and acquisitions.
- Background in the Financial Services industry is an advantage.
- Experience with Azure services and IaaS is a benefit.
Responsibilities
As a member of our team, I will expect you to:
- Clearly communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure successful task execution and provide out-of-hours support on an on-call roster/rotation basis.
- Manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, executing complex development work and providing management with actionable recommendations for potential solutions.
- Show a deep understanding of development areas and how team contributions support the overall health of our technology function.
- Address and resolve a range of technical issues while offering solutions based on best practices and existing precedents.
- Contribute to project management and assist other technical and product managers in evaluating product requirements for software applications, developing and reviewing detailed specifications.
- Work closely with the team and management to resolve inquiries related to development and improve processes and procedures when possible.
- Document essential details and graphical representations of systems and flows for historical reference and usage by team members, other technical teams, and management.
- Maintain procedural documentation for team members and keep system inventories up to date.
