Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 5 years of experience in various industry standards, particularly with Financial Market Access.
- I expect a solid understanding of:
- Firewall Operations, including Fortinet and Checkpoint
- Internet services and protocols
- Web Proxy or similar technologies
- Remote and Site-to-Site VPN technology
- Load balancers like NetScaler and F5
- A general comprehension of network security standards
- It would be a bonus if you have experience in:
- Network Security Automation and DevOps
- Unix system management
- Cisco Switching/Routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, VPC, traffic engineering, etc.)
- Scripting/Python/Ansible or other automation skills
- I seek candidates with at least 10 years of experience in data network and/or network security operations, preferably in an exchange or investment banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and IT Infrastructure management best practices is essential.
- You should possess strong operational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple requests and incidents.
- Adaptability is crucial, as I expect you to adjust to new environments and work effectively in various situations.
- You need to be willing to participate in on-call schedules, including overnight and weekend rotations based on team requirements (approximately once per month).
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, DEC, or equivalent technical certifications is desired.
Responsibilities
In this position, your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing technical projects that require collaboration with local and global application, infrastructure, governance, and client teams.
- Providing level 2/3 operational support.
- Monitoring operations during business hours.
- Communicating daily morning check reports.
- Enhancing operational processes and documentation.
- Participating in on-call duties outside of business hours.
- Managing incidents and ensuring effective communication during business hours.
- Handling Level 2/3 Operations Incidents and Problems.
- Managing request prioritization and delivery on a daily basis.
- Overseeing change management processes, including delivery during non-business hours and weekends.
- Conducting peer reviews of change configurations with Level 3.
- Working in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
Description
The ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, is vital as collaboration with colleagues and partners in the United States will be part of your role.
