Requirements
Must:

- I have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in data networking and/or network security operations.
- I possess a solid understanding of various networking technologies including Cisco Catalyst 9k/6k/4k/3k, Nexus 9k/7k/5k/3k/2k, STP, HSRP, VDC, VPC, VLAN, LACP, OTV, as well as Routing on ISR/ASR platforms, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and Multicast.
- I am familiar with telecom technologies such as DWDM and have a strong grasp of ITIL best practices in IT infrastructure management.
- I am open to participating in on-call schedules that may include overnight and weekend shifts, based on team needs (approximately once a month).
- I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certifications. Bonus points for holding a Cisco CCNP/CCIE Level certification.
- I am proficient in English and French.

Responsibilities
- I will lead or engage in various technical projects that involve local and global application, infrastructure, governance, and client teams.
- I will assist in the implementation of DNA on campus and the deployment of ACI in core data centers.
- I will provide Level 2/3 operational support and monitor network performance during business hours.
- I will create daily morning check reports and communicate findings effectively.
- I will improve operational processes and documentation, participate in on-call incidents during non-business hours, and manage incident detection and communication.
- I will handle Level 2/3 operations incidents and problems as well as manage and prioritize daily requests.
- I will oversee change management, including delivering changes during non-business hours and conducting peer reviews of change configurations with Level 3.
- I will actively contribute to the Network Automation Initiative and work within an Agile (Scrum) environment.

You will manage a variety of networking technologies, ensure network security, and support enterprise-level systems. Strong backgrounds in computer networking, system administration, and cloud security are essential, along with the capability to troubleshoot and optimize network performance across diverse environments. This is a full-time position with an annual salary ranging from $80,000.00 to $100,000.00. The work location is in-person in Montréal, QC, and candidates should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
