Requirements
Must:
- 2–5 years of practical experience with IBM MQ (installation, setup, upgrades)
- Proficient troubleshooting and debugging abilities in middleware systems
- Experience in supporting production environments within enterprises
- French language proficiency is required
- English language proficiency is required
- Familiarity with messaging platforms like RabbitMQ is a plus
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) are advantageous
- Knowledge of microservices and REST APIs would be beneficial
- Understanding of CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins and Docker, is preferred
- Previous experience with cloud environments (AWS or similar) is valuable
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef is an asset
- Background in financial services or trading environments is a plus
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ and/or RabbitMQ platforms
- Execute fix pack upgrades, migrations, and enhancements to the environment
- Deliver Level 2/3 production support to applications and development teams
- Diagnose and resolve messaging, connectivity, and performance challenges
- Identify persistent issues and develop long-term solutions to remedy them
- Engage in middleware platform enhancement and automation projects
- Collaborate with both business and IT teams to create operationally sustainable solutions
- Ensure proper documentation, runbooks, and operational processes are maintained
Description
We are looking for an Intermediate Middleware Engineer with hands-on expertise in supporting IBM MQ and/or RabbitMQ within enterprise settings. This role emphasizes production support, platform maintenance, system upgrades, and working alongside application teams to provide dependable messaging solutions. We offer a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000 per year, along with benefits including dental and vision care, as well as paid time off.
