Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Installation Developer
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient in Windows Installer technology and InstallShield
- Strong expertise in programming languages including C#, PowerShell, Bash, and C++
- Solid understanding of software deployment procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with version control systems like Git and Perforce
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain installation packages for both Windows and Linux platforms
- Utilize Windows Installer and various installation technologies to create robust, scalable solutions
- Develop, update, and maintain installation scripts using C#, PowerShell, Bash, and C++
- Use InstallShield for advanced installation packaging and deployment tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish installation requirements and strategies
- Work with container technologies to facilitate support for modern deployment environments
- Ensure installation processes align with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce) and CI/CD pipelines
- Assist with database connectivity within installations for SQL and NoSQL systems
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve any installation-related issues
- Adhere to agile development practices to deliver high-quality solutions on time
