Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Associates degree or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience from relevant internships, lab work, or personal projects is welcomed.
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) or A+ certification is advantageous.
- We support candidates striving for their first certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily help desk support and address IT tickets.
- Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network.
- Set up, configure, and manage computers, systems, and user accounts.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and elementary cloud platforms (Azure/Active Directory).
- Install and update software, drivers, and operating systems.
- Clearly communicate solutions to non-technical users and offer basic training as necessary.
- Document processes and maintain IT inventory effectively.
- Collaborate with vendors and support technology setups for new stores or locations.
- Assist with simple network and cabling requirements and suggest system enhancements.
Description
We are seeking a part-time Help Desk Technician to support our IT team and provide assistance to our internal staff. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to start their career in Information Technology.
