Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in delivering IT support or desktop assistance within a corporate setting
- Strong understanding of computer management, hardware components, and operating systems (Windows)
- Familiarity with networking principles including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and troubleshooting
- Proficient in resolving software issues related to Microsoft Office Suite and other standard enterprise applications
- Experience using help desk ticketing systems
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical users clearly
- Capability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality service standards
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and efficient technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network challenges
- Manage and maintain computer systems including desktops, laptops, and printers
- Troubleshoot software issues connected to Microsoft Office applications, operating systems, and specialized enterprise software
- Configure and upkeep computer network elements like LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and switches to ensure secure connectivity
- Assist in the setup, deployment, and management of IT infrastructure components including servers, BMC Remedy tickets, and various hardware devices
- Conduct routine system updates, install security patches, and perform hardware diagnostics to avert potential issues
- Collaborate with team members to enhance existing IT processes and document solutions for future reference
