Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technology-related field is preferred.
- Preferred experience with databases, with SQL knowledge being an advantage.
- Experience in a school district setting is desirable.
- Proven ability to effectively train groups and individuals with varying technical expertise, both in-person and virtually.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with users at all skill levels.
- Capacity to learn and retain knowledge about products, adapting to software modifications and enhancements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day support and training on the Infinite Campus Student Information System, including onsite, email, telephone, in-person, and remote assistance.
- Provide ongoing support and training related to state and federal reporting requirements including MARSS, EdFi, MCCC, and CRDC.
- Stay updated on all state and federal reporting guidelines.
- Remain informed about updates and enhancements to the Infinite Campus system.
- Troubleshoot problems reported by end-users or identified internally, documenting the issues and collaborating with vendors for resolutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials.
- Assist district staff in generating accurate data files for MDE, helping them correct errors and adhere to deadlines.
- Attend meetings and training sessions provided by MDE, ARCC, or Infinite Campus.
- Collaborate with other ARCC SIS staff to create a professional and unified support system for member districts.
- Maintain a supportive and respectful demeanor toward districts, vendors, partner organizations, and colleagues.
- Communicate proactively with districts concerning updates related to Infinite Campus and MDE.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Executive Director.
