Requirements
Must:
- Typically requires a 4-year degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Incumbent has limited discretion to deviate from established procedures, works under general supervision, and resolves some straightforward issues. Formal training in own functions theories/concepts is needed.
- Incumbent possesses a high level of discretion to vary from established protocols, operates under broad supervision, and addresses complex challenges. Substantial work experience related to advanced concepts and procedures in own function is usually required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver daily hardware and software engineering, support, and maintenance, including performance monitoring and reporting, solutions design, and consulting for our Hardware/Software infrastructure systems.
- Analyze and diagnose issues in software, applications, databases, hardware, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications.
- Provide second-level support directly to IT groups and/or users.
- Collaborate with vendors as necessary to facilitate repairs for hardware or software.
- Engage in annual Disaster Recovery testing activities.
