Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of experience in front-end development, including at least 8+ years working with React
- Proficient in TypeScript, emphasizing type safety and industry best practices
- Strong familiarity with Material UI for developing accessible and cohesive user interfaces
- Comprehensive understanding of Node.js with experience in library packaging
- Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library
- Extensive knowledge of Webpack, focusing on performance optimization, tree shaking, and bundle splitting
- Well-versed in state management options including Redux, Zustand, or Recoil
- Experience in optimizing performance, lazy loading, and enhancing Lighthouse scores
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies for front-end deployment
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL, with efficient data fetching strategies
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to debug complex front-end challenges
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance React components, ensuring they are reusable, maintainable, and performant
- Design and sustain a scalable structure for React applications, adhering to best practices for longevity
- Create and package Node.js libraries for use across multiple projects
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable TypeScript code while ensuring robust type safety
- Construct UI components utilizing Material UI, aligning with design standards
- Integrate and efficiently consume RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints
- Implement and manage front-end testing through frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library
- Improve Webpack configurations to achieve faster builds and better performance
- Adhere to performance optimization, accessibility, and security best practices
- Work closely with backend teams to smoothly integrate APIs and enhance data retrieval strategies
- Debug and resolve intricate issues throughout the front-end stack, including state management and caching
- Stay informed on the latest developments in React, TypeScript, and front-end technologies to deliver superior solutions
- Engage in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical discussions
