Principal Software Engineer - Einfochips

- Operate autonomously to define requirements with stakeholders and design new feature implementations - Examine cybersecurity controls of processors and microcontrollers; develop Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) while providing implementation guidance to suppliers - Investigate and evolve novel cyber security features - Collaborate with the open-source community to enhance cybersecurity capabilities and contribute new projects - Create software in accordance with team coding standards and industry benchmarks (e.g., SEI CERT, AUTOSAR) - Collaborate with CI/CD teams to integrate new capabilities into the build and release pipelines and customize these for new projects - Partner with testing teams to establish testing strategies and assist in the development of automated tests - Lead internal testing teams and offer guidance in the absence of regular leadership - Mentor junior and mid-level engineers regarding best practices in design, implementation, and testing - Conduct root cause analyses of defects and lead initiatives for improved product quality and testing processes - Coordinate with varied stakeholders to synchronize deliverables, timelines, and testing objectives - Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) to promote effective collaboration - Stay abreast of industry trends in embedded systems development and advocate for continuous process enhancements
