Requirements
Must:
- Typically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience; or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with challenges and solutions within this field increases with experience and leadership.
- Incumbents should possess extensive knowledge and skills in their discipline, with an ability to tackle complex problems with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities
- Design test plans and specifications to validate new products and enhance existing ones.
- Provide guidance and support to the team during debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Work closely with the engineering development team on power and voltage regulator design as well as system validation.
- Establish remote network connections via terminal servers and switches.
- Perform data validation, conduct statistical analysis, and present quality metrics.
- Review design data for DFM/DFA considerations.
- Set up testing appliances in Environmental chambers, EMI/EMC, or for Connectivity validation.
- Engage in root cause analysis for failures noted during lab tests.
- Prepare and submit test reports, participating in test plan evaluations.
- Develop and conduct tests with proper setup and fixtures to ensure specific testing can occur.
- Collaborate within a team setting to manage testing deliverables and adhere to project deadlines.
