Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development using embedded platforms and Zephyr OS or FreeRTOS.
- At least 3 years of proficiency in C++ programming.
- Over 1 year of embedded software development experience with strong debugging skills and a focus on enhancing performance of embedded applications.
- Familiarity with source code management tools, bug tracking tools, and build environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop real-time embedded software and firmware for platforms such as ESP32, iMX8, NXP RW610, or similar.
- Create applications utilizing WiFi 6 and BLE interfaces, employing protocols like MQTT, TLS, and WebSocket.
- Build applications for cloud integration using AWS or Azure services.
- Utilize C++ and C for application development and implement automation with Python.
- Evaluate domain-specific technical requirements and adapt per customer and system needs while participating in software design.
- Conduct software testing, including unit, functional, and system level tests, both manually and automated.
- Document technical outputs such as software specifications, design documents, code annotations, test cases, test reports, and release notes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create software solutions using established programming languages or by acquiring new languages as necessary for specific projects.
- Innovate new methodologies for tackling complex design challenges.
- Employ deep knowledge and experience of embedded systems to troubleshoot complex issues from fresh perspectives employing existing solutions.
- Function independently with minimal guidance and serve as a mentor for less experienced colleagues.
- Engage actively in process enhancement initiatives.
