Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proficient in the development and verification of avionics products
- Experienced in creating high-level and low-level requirements
- Familiar with HW/SW integration testing and compliance with DO-178B/C
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and peer review processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Expertise in established programming languages and security baselines
- Ability to enhance development and testing frameworks for optimal performance
- Skilled in preparing comprehensive test plans and developing automated/manual test scripts
- Experience in documenting technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
- Capable of providing mentorship to junior team members
Responsibilities
- Develop and verify avionics products, including display and air-ground communication systems
- Create and review high-level and low-level requirements
- Conduct hardware/software integration testing to ensure compliance with DO-178B/C
- Participate in Agile execution and the review process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop product solutions
- Maintain and enhance development and testing frameworks for better performance
- Prepare and execute thorough test plans and develop validation scripts
- Troubleshoot product issues and conduct analytical reviews
- Document project specifications, design documents, and testing reports
- Work closely with technical leads to develop unit tests and ensure proper documentation
- Mentor junior staff and promote technical collaboration and growth
